In terms of the operational concept, I decided to keep it simple and familiar. I created three main sections: A trip wizard, a home page, and a 'my trips' section. Drill navigation from my trips> trip page> day agenda> attraction page. The wizard consists of an easy 6-step process for the user to adjust trip properties.

The test consisted of eight parts, each with a set of missions to complete. My main focus was evaluating operational efficiency, anxiety level, and discoverability. After analyzing the results, I identified areas that required improvements to ensure better performance.

    • Visually the toggle separated two options, causing higher anxiety among the subjects. I changed the appearance to cards with radio buttons to show the differences between the two options on the same screen with a progressive discloser for each card.

    • Copywriting changed due to was unclarity of the differences between the two options

The UI design is suited for the target audience as youthful, bold, yet informative. Since the interface has many pictures, the primary color is black to balance the graphic load. however, because the app is all about finding new hip places, I choose accent colors to keep things fun.
